Prayer for the coming of
the reign of the Sacred Heart
Composed by Martin Drexler (1902), please
Supper received the imprimatur of Cardinal Richard, Archbishop
of Paris. The Blessed Virgin told the seer, with the prayers of
Pope Leo XIII after Mass, these prayers would obtain the triumph
of the Church and the salvation of France. "I am all mercy, she
said. I want to save France, but we must pray Saint Michel. If
we do not pray, he will not intervene. "
On behalf of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and
the intercession of Mary Immaculate, humbly prostrate before
your Majesty, O Almighty God, we beseech you to please send it
for Saint Michel save us in our distress.
You deign to remember, Lord, that in the
painful circumstances of our history, you have made the
instrument of thy mercies towards us. We can not forget it.
Therefore we beseech You to preserve our homeland, but guilty so
unhappy, the protection that you have once surrounded by the
Department of the Archangel winner.
It is to you that we use, O Mary Immaculate,
our Mediatrix sweet, which are the Queen of Heaven and earth. We
humbly beseech Thee, yet deign to intercede for us. Ask God that
he sends Saint Michael and his angels to remove all obstacles to
the reign of the Sacred Heart in our souls, in our families and
in the whole of France.
And you, O Saint Michael, Prince of the
heavenly hosts, come to us. We urge you with all our hearts! You
are the Guardian Angel of the Church and of France, it was you
who inspired and supported Joan of Arc in her liberating
mission. Come again to our rescue and save us! God has entrusted
you with souls, redeemed by the Saviour, should be admitted to
the happiness of Heaven. So we are doing on the sublime mission
which the Lord has instructed you.
We place all our spiritual interests, our
souls, our families, our parishes, the whole of France, under
your powerful protection. We have firm hope, you will not let
die the people entrusted to you!
Fight with us against hell unleashed, and the
divine power which you are covered, after giving the victory to
the church here, drive our souls to the eternal homeland. So be
it.
Rosary to St. Michael the
Archangel
In 1751 died in the odor of sanctity, the
Carmel of Vetralla (Italy), Sister Angèle-Dove of the Heart of
Jesus, who had adopted and propagated the practice of the Rosary
of St. Michael dedicated therefore, we are told, by a tradition
Venerable.
It seems certain, in fact, that originally
dates back to a pious Portuguese named Antonia Astonac, which
would have received from St. Michael the assurance that anyone
would honor by reciting nine salutations corresponding to the
nine choirs Angels would be accompanied to the Holy Table with a
procession of nine angels caught in each of the nine choirs.
Furthermore, one who daily recite the nine salutations,
Archangel promised the special assistance during life and after
death, deliverance from the flames of Purgatory, for himself and
for his parents.
With a rosary blessed, specially designed,
after kissing the medal piously:
"O God, help me to thinking; Lord, make haste
to help me.
Let them be ashamed, and be put to shame those who seek my soul.
Let them be turned back, and that confusion that wish me evil.
Let them return immediately, blushing, those who say to me:
Triumph, triumph!
But they are engaged in transport of joy and gladness they exult
all who seek you, and they say continually, Let the Lord be
glorified, those who love your salvation.
For I am poor and needy; God, help me.
It is you who are my help and my deliverer; Lord, do not delay.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning and now and ever and ever and ever.
So be it."
Then, leaving the four grains that follow the
coin, recite a Pater on the coarse and three Ave on small grains
for greeting each Choir of Angels.
- At the 1st Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Seraphim, may the Lord make us worthy to be fired
with perfect charity. So be it.
- At the 2nd Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Cherubim, the Lord grant us the grace to abandon
the ways of sin and run in that of Christian perfection. So
be it.
- In the 3rd Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Thrones, may the Lord spread in our hearts the
spirit of true and sincere humility. So be it.
- In the 4th Choir of Angels:

Choir of Dominions, may the Lord make us the grace to
dominate our senses and to correct us from our evil
passions. So be it.
- In the fifth Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Powers, may the Lord deign to protect our souls
against the snares and temptations of the devil. So be it.
- In the 6th Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the heavenly
choir of heavenly Virtues, may the Lord lead us not into
temptation, but that He delivers us from evil. So be it.
- In the 7th Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Principalities, may the Lord fill our souls with
the spirit of true and sincere obedience. So be it.
- In the eighth Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of Archangels, may the Lord grant us the gift of
perseverance in the faith and in good works, in order to
arrive at the possession of glory from heaven. So be it.
- In the 9th Choir of Angels:
Through the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial
Choir of all the Angels, may the Lord grant us to be kept by
them for this mortal life, to then be led to eternal glory
Heaven. So be it.
Grain near the coin,
reciting Pater four:
- The 1st in honor of St. Michael the
Archangel,
- The second in honor of the Archangel
Gabriel,
- The third in honor of the Archangel
Raphael,
- The 4th in honor of our Guardian

Finish with the following prayer:

Almighty God and Lord who by a prodigy of
Goodness and Mercy for the common salvation of men, have chosen
for Prince of Your Church the glorious Archangel, make us worthy,

Prayer to St. Michael the
Archangel
Glorious St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly
host, patron of the universal Church, and especially of France,
defend us against so many visible and invisible enemies that
surround us. Do not let them lead us to offend God; Protect us
against the pitfalls and traps they sow under our feet. Fight
them, and put them to flight if they come to harm either our
bodies from disease, or our soul by the evil passions they seek
to be born into it.
Defeat their malice; and watch us in the
struggles and battles of life, and especially at the time of our
death. So be it.
Glorious St. Michael, pray for us who have
recourse to thee.
